The Victorian Lantern
Bed and Breakfast
Welcome to The Victorian Lantern
This beautiful, historic home was built in 1887 by Richard Hodgson. Judge Hay purchased the house in 1901. The house is still known as “The Judge Hay House”. It remained in the Hay family until the early 2000’s, then was sold at auction. Dave and Rayma Rowland purchased the house in 2012 and began the long and loving journey of renovation. The house has tall ceilings, oak floors on the first level, crown molding, picture railing, beautiful oak wainscoting in the dining room and foyer, 2 gas fireplaces, claw foot bathtubs, 2 sets of stairs, and gorgeous stained glass. We offer 5 bedrooms with breakfast served each morning.

MOST ENJOYABLE STAY
"The Victorian Lantern is simply put the most enjoyable stay I've ever had. The owners poured their hearts and souls into gorgeously restoring this 1800s era home. On top of that, they have extensive knowledge of the building's history and love to give tours to guests. If you want to have a wonderful evening unlike any other, absolutely visit this Bed and Breakfast."
